The card that almost wasn't.

I made this card for Mojo Monday Week #45 and the sketch itself is LOVELY and a real pleasure to view for sure. However, everything I did for this card, I ended up doing AT LEAST twice. SO frustrating! My cuts were wrong...I smudged the coloring or the ink...I cut it with the wrong Nestabilities die...I stuck it wrong and then when I went to pull it up, I ripped the cardstock. MY WORD I was nearly in tears when it finally came together! LOL

So HERE is the card that I nearly scrapped, not because of the sketch, but because of my own stupidity.

Supplies I used: MFT stamp and sentiment; River rock, Summer Sun, White CS; K&Co DP; Memento cocoa or whatever the name is ink; Copic markers; Ribbon from Michael's; American Craft white brads; Crop-a-Dile; Paper piercer; Scor-Pal; Inksentials white gel pen; Summer Sun ink sponged around the edge of the sentiment; Copic Atyou Spica clear glitter pen. Blood, sweat, tears, a few curse words and LOTS of patience. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

LMAO here! This process is sooooo what I go through most times I work on a card, so you are not alone! Love the card, but the way. ;-)

Your process today is like my process everyday! In fact most of my layers/embellies are strategically placed to cover my goof-ups! A pretty result!
