Get Well Soon!

Ooh first peeks at the new set called Warm and Cozy coming at All That Scraps on Monday from AmyR. stamps! I love this set!

I decided to take some of the get well wishes and the robe and make a get well gift. I love how this turned out! So quick, too!

I just cut a piece of cardstock large enough to go around a small kleenex travel pack, plopped it on my Scor-Pal and scored it, glued it together and decorated with my stamped and paper pieced image and some patterned paper and a sentiment. :D Then I cut a piece of cardstock large enough to go around a tea bag, scored it at 1" on the bottom and secured it with some brads then I decorated it with some pattern paper and a sentiment. Put it all together with some crinkle paper with some lavender vanilla organic bath goodies and some warm fuzzy slipper socks and a gift was made!

What I used: AmyR. stamps from All That Scraps, SU CS, Memento ink, Copic marker, pattern paper, Doodlebug brads, an eyelet, Scor-Pal, embroidery floss that I colored to match with my Copic marker.

Thanks for stopping in today, run over to the ATS blog to see what the other ladies have made using this great set!

Brads, brads and more brads...

Okay, so maybe I didn't use THAT many...but I used a bunch more than I normally would!

That is today's challenge on the ATS blog, to use a lot of brads. I have TONS of them. All colors and shapes and sizes...but darn if I use them that often. hehe!

I had to use my little Snow Friends set from Cookie Crumbs one more time before I put away my wintery stamps...coz it is turning beautiful weather here lately! Sunny and warm-ish...makes me kinda glad I don't live where the snow is. :D I'm ready for spring already!! Hurry and get here, spring! heee!

What I used: Snow Friends stamp set, Memento ink, Copic markers, chalk (Yes, I did!), Making Memories brads, button brads, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, SU CS, MME PP (I think!), Diamond Dust glitter for the snow under my little snowguy.

So thanks for stopping by today! I can't WAIT to share with y'all what I've been working on lately. :D Stay tuned!

I mean really...are you trying to make me be broke?

Coz dang! I can't resist cute stamps!! Yikes...this one though, y'all...I want a whole line of these froggies! Isn't he adorable?!? Doncha just wanna hug him? LOL! Well, when I saw that Christine at All That Scraps had gotten this "cute as can be!" line of stamps from Lelo Design/Stampavie, I knew...I had to have them. OH and she FORCED me to accidentally order some Magnolia stamps that she got in stock today. LOL! Twisted my arm, she did...(Okay, not really...hehe!)

ANYway...back to my cute little froggie...I stamped him out with Brilliance ink, clear embossed and colored with my Copic markers. I added a little highlight with my white gel pen on his little cheeks. Eee...I love him!

What I used: Lelo Design stamp from Stampavie, Brilliance ink, Copic markers, clear embossing powder, SU CS, Target $1 spot paper (are y'all sick of this paper yet? I love it...LOL!), Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, Cuttlebug embossing folder, ribbon and some stickles. The *mwah* sentiment is from Amy R's Love Sentiments set and I punched it out with my CM heart punch. I added some google eyes for a little bit of fun. hehe!!!

That is all for today. Thanks for stopping by everyone! Hope you are having a great week. :)

Almost didn't use this one!

Not that I meant to almost not use it...but I was going through my files on my computer and taking stuff off and realized that I hadn't even used this cute download from C.C. Designs/All That Scraps! I mean seriously...do you think I'd REALLY pass up an opportunity to use this sweet thing? LOOK AT THE CUTE LITTLE FAT BELLY! I loooooooove it! hehe!

OH! I should mention...I'm working on a little something to help you along with working with digital images. It won't be a video (mainly coz "IIIII taaaaaalk liiiiike thiiiiis" because I'm from The South....) but it will have pictures and I will be available to answer any questions....which you're certainly welcome to email me about anything anyway (link to email is in the sidebar.)

What I used: Sweetpea and Tiger digi-download, SU CS, MME pattern paper, colored with Copic markers, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, Stickles, ribbon, CM heart punch.

That is all I have for today! Thanks for stopping in...I've got a bunch more things to share with you that I've made..just haven't had time to post it (plus I've been lazy about it, too...hehe!)

ATS DT Challenge #33: Faux Stitching

Hey! My favorite day of the week is here! Time for All That Scraps' challenge! I love, love, love doing these even before I was on the DT!

So this week, we were challenged to use some faux stitching. Fun! I borrowed a little inspiration from our challenge fairy at ATS, Jennifer Ofiana. She is the whole reason I purchased that CM wavy cutter! I ordered it late, late one night and then went back to bed. I didn't even remember 'til later in the day and I checked my email and was like, "WHOA! I sleep-shopped!" Teehehee!

What I used:

Angels Everywhere by C.C. Designs at All That Scraps, Memento ink, Copic markers, Stardust Stickles, Stampin' Up cardstock, Solar white stamping paper, that Creative Memories wavy cutter, Inkssentials white gel pen, Prima hydrangeas, dew drops, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies and the DP is from a pad..I can't remember who made it...sorry! For the sentiment, I used my AmyR Love Sentiments set, stamped with Brilliance graphite black ink.

Thanks for stopping in today! Be sure to check out what the talented ladies on the DT have done with this challenge!

Happy Birthday to MEEEEEEE!

hah! It isn't everyday that a girl turns 25 (again...plus 12)...LOL!

I'm working today...booo....but I have a fun night planned with the gals from work...we're going to Chevy's! Yay! All the chips and salsa I can eat!!!

Anyway...enough about that...let us talk about this card. This little card is what they're calling a "scrapling" which is basically when you take your scraps and you make a complete twee card with scraps. Ooh I looove these! So fast and easy!

On SCS today, they're hosting the VSN and this one was for the preview of today's VSN...to make a scrapling card. There are lots of challenges going on today so head on over to join in the festivities!

Of course, I *had* to use my favorite little cupid girl, right?!

What I used: Scraps...all scraps. Scraps of SU! cardstock, scraps of patterned paper from that pack I got in the Target dollar spot. I stamped her out in Memento ink and colored with Copic markers then highlighted a bit with a gel pen. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies and a bit of scrap red ribbon. I highlighted my Cupid with a little Shimmerz Blingz in Hottie pink and shimmerz'd up her wings with Angel Wings Shimmerz.

Speaking of Shimmerz, did you hear there is a DT call open? Ahh! Run over and find out all the details!

The card only measures 2.25"x5! Ahh! So fun!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by today. Hope you're having a great weekend!

Today on All That Scraps, there is a technique challenge to make this awesome double pocket bag. It is seriously so easy! I'm not the best at making these projects with scored and folded and glued and stuck down instructions with them. But I could follow it pretty well and it turned out pretty darn cute! Oh here are the instructions.

It measures 5x5 approximately. Hey, if I can do it, anyone can. LOL! Hope you can play along!

What I used: Cosmo Cricket PP, SU CS, Solar white stamping paper, Memento ink, Copic markers, Glam Girl from All That Scraps, Martha Stewart edge punch, Prima Flowers, Doodlebug Brad, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, Glossy Accents, Ribbon, Slot punch.

Here I am!

(Read to the end b/c there might be blog candy involved...hehehe!)

Emerging from the cage that has been work for about a month! LOL Ooh I'm soooo over going to work and working so many hours. It really puts a damper on what all I can do in my "spare time."

So, I'm cutting back on hours at work which gives me more time to play with things!!! And that is what I've done all day today. (Well, besides doing laundry..hehe!)

And what have I been busy doing???? Wellllllll, a few things that I can't quite share yet *wink* and this one that I can share! I got to use my new High Hopes stamps that I hadn't inked up (even after waiting a ginormous amount of time for them.) And woo hooo hooooo! They are soo much fun to color. I think that is what draws me to them so much. :)

What I used: DCWV notecard, Basic Grey PP, High Hopes stamp, Brilliance ink, Embossing powder, Copic markers, SU CS, Mellow moss ink for sponging, Cuttlebug, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders dies, Shimmerz paints on the wings, some SU ribbon, and see those little plastic flowers? I don't know where I got them but they are just really fun! Oh and I used a brad.

OHHHHH....did I forget something? I mentioned a little something about some blog candy. Yes, yes. Well....my one year anniversary of stamping is coming up on the 16th January. That was the first day I stuck ink to stamp and made a card. Annnnnnnnd on 17 January (Saturday) is my birthday! Ooh I'll be 37. I mean, seriously. HOW did I get this old? HONESTLY.

ANYway, to celebrate my stamping anniversary and my birthday, I'm hosting a blog candy. What is included? Oh...you know, a $25 gift certificate to one of my favorite places to shop! Just enter a comment below to be entered in the blog candy drawing! Pass it on, because the more the merrier!

Hope you all have a great day!

Happy New Year!

Glad to see you made it without an incident. hehe!

Today is my first 'official' day as an ATS DT member! Can I get a WooHoo! And we all know what that means...that means that it is time for new previews of the sets being released on January 5th!

We're starting the previews off with 2 new sets from Amy R. stamps called Wedding and Love Sentiments.

I had a major ribbon crisis while putting this card together. I wanted to keep it simple to showcase the beautiful stamps but that ribbon and I were soon to go 'round and 'round. EVIL RIBBON! LOL!!

So, go check out what the talented ladies on the 2009 Design team have done with these! :)

Cheers to a wonderful new year! :)
