I made a little scrapling for this card. I love my scraplings! In fact, I just went through all my "scraps" and pulled out all the card-size and scrapling sized scraps and I had 22 scraplings and 37 A2 card bases....from scraps! LOL!

I didn't have any patterned paper that I wanted to use so I took the holly leaves and stamped with versamark ink.

Be sure to stop by the ATS blog and my ATS blog list in my sidebar to view more cards made with this wonderful stamp set.

Wellllllll...I happen to have a lot of favorites...hehe...but the one stamp that made me finally place an order was this Santa stamp. I just love Santas!  So I had to use this stamp...and there was a bit of a little panic as I couldn't find my sentiment stamp that went with it...but I dug around and found it in the bottom of my High Hopes stamp storage container.  WHEW.  Crisis averted!

ATS Review Preview -- Autumn Sugarplums

Today on the ATS blog, we're reviewing these cute new Sugarplums! I just love each and every one of them and I'd love to have made a card using each one but dang it if time isn't the ENEMY of them. Chuh. There is time. RUINING ALL MY FUN. hehe!!!

So I used Mummy Trevor on my card today.  He just cracks me up!  RAWR...so scary, Trevor!  *GRIN*

I wasn't "in love" with any of the Halloween-ish paper that I have since we don't really do a lot of Halloween here at our house so I really don't buy that much.  Halloween paper I mean, goodness gravy I buy enough of every other kind of paper!  hehe  Anyway, so I found this green patterned paper and it looked pretty spooky but not spooky ENOUGH....so I added the little googly eyes poking up...heeeee!  And to make the little background behind him, I used the cracked glass technique to make it more spooooooooooooooookyyyyy!

Stamps: Mummy Trevor from All That Scraps, Amy R. Spooky Sentiment set
Ink and Coloring: Memento ink, Copic markers
Paper: C.C. Designs Copic Quality White, PP from my stash, colored cardstock

Soooo, I decided to give it a shot. And well, it took a bit of mind bending but I finally bent my brain around it. But whew. I can't say I'll make anymore. LOL!

They are a bit tricky to photograph...so I hope you can tell what I did.

ATS DT Challenge

This week, Lesa challenged us to use vellum on our card. Well, I have a whole stack of vellum so I thought, NO PROBLEM! And then I hatched out an idea in my head and sat on it all day then went into my crap-ft room and discovered that yes, I have a bunch of vellum...but NO WHITE! So there went my whole idea out my head. SOOOO...I saw this image that I have from Motivet that I had already colored and it was sitting there ready to go. So I picked it up and used it!

Christine has been getting a lot of awesome new stamps in the ATS store not to mention those awesome new releases from this month...you should go check it out!

And well, because I only had colored vellum, I had to think of a way to make it work...so I used vellum for the mat on the image and I took a piece of the patterned paper, covered it in vellum and punched the border of it then curled it up a little just for some interest.

That's all I have for you today! Thanks so much for stopping in and seeing me. :) Be sure to see the other uses of vellum on the ATS blog.

Stamps: Amy R's Autumn Sentiments, Motivet-Doraline on a Pumpkin
Ink and Coloring: Memento ink, Copic markers and Prisma Pencils
Paper: C.C. Designs Copic Quality White, DCWV PP, colored cardstock, vellum
Embellishments and Etc.: ribbon, corner punch, MS edge punch, rhinestones, white gel pen.

ETA: I just realized one of my rhinestones for the corner fell off! LOL Guess I'd better go fix that on my card. hehe

Angel's Landing New Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to the September Angels Landing Blog Hop. If you missed the beginning, head over to Judi's digi-stamps blog and follow the links. Today the Design Team is introducing two new digital image sets for September, Autumn Tweetings and Ho Ho Holidays.

Today I used the Autumn Tweetings set to make my card. I printed my image on C.C. Designs Copic Quality Ivory cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Then I stamped over the whole image with Versamagic and then sprinkled iridescent embossing powder over it all then heat embossed. It makes the image soooo sparkley and pretty! But hard to photograph...I tried EVERYTHING to get this thing's picture...this was the best I could do. :(

Here is the recipe.

Stamps: Digital stamp set Autumn Tweetings from Angel's Landing.
Inks: printer, Copic markers, Versamagic
Papers: PTI CS, Basic Grey PP
Embellishments and etc.: iridescent embossing powder, MS border punches, vintage lace ribbon, twine, vintage natural button, Hero Arts flowers (that I colored with Copic markers to match), stick-on pearl.

CHOO CHOO! Your next stop on the Blog Hop is Cindy at Royal Things! If you get lost along the way, check the master list on Judi's digi-stamps blog. Thanks for stopping by today! Enjoy the blog hop and have a great day!

Two ATS cards today...

So yeah, these I made last week but am just now getting around to posting them. I have a seriously messed up schedule this week so I'm trying to pre-schedule a couple of posts for y'all.

The first card uses the watercolor spritz technique that I found on Gina K's blog. Our DT challenge from Wednesday was to watercolor an image. And if you've been around my blog for a while, you'll know that I D-E-T-E-S-T watercoloring. Not really, I love it when OTHER people do it, but me, notsomuch. So, when I saw the challenge to watercolor, I was all...NOOOOOO! But then I saw the watercolor spritz and was all...YESSSSSS. LOL!

The second card is showcasing Diane's new set from ATS this month called Ollie and Griselda. I love all the images in this set. The owl on the back of the broom looks SO PUT OUT that he has to go along for the ride. LOL!

So anyway, that's all I have for y'all today. Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you have a fabulous day!

Angel's Landing Anything But!

This week, Judi inspired the Angel's Landing DT to create something with her lovely digi-stamps that was not a card. I started out thinking I'd make this bag on Amy's blog. But, I didn't write down the directions but I thought I remembered it pretty well. Well, I didn't. LOL So I worked on it a bit and discovered that I hadn't done it right so I just "winged it" and I think it still turned out pretty cute. :D

I used the Simply Flowers by printing it out on C.C. Designs Copic Quality White CS then coloring it with Copic markers to match the Basic Grey patterned paper I had chosen. I cut around the flowers, snipped a little to make them all smoosh together, smeared my ATG gun across the back of the flowers, added a bit of ribbon and voila...all done!

What I used: C.C. Designs Copic Quality White CS, colored cardstock, Basic Grey patterned paper, white gel pen, ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to visit the Angel's Landing blog to see what the other ladies have done. :)

CC Designs Autumn Sugarplums BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the CC Designs Autumn Sugarplums Blog Hop!!

The Autumn Sugarplums release is so large the whole team wanted to participate so we decided to do our very first blog hop!

If you've just happened across my blog and didn't start at the beginning click here to get started!

You know, I couldn't just create one card for these totally awesome stamps. OH NO NO NO that just wouldn't do! So I created two compleeeeeetely different cards!

The first one uses one of these cute little Sugarplum darlings. Isn't she cute and ready for autumn with her pumpkin in her lil red wagon? ACK! She is just adorable as are ALL the cutie-pie-tooties!

What I used on the first card: a Sugarplum darling, C.C. Designs Copic quality white cs, Memento ink, Copic markers, colored cardstock, patterned paper is some more that I have had in my collection of paper since the dawn of time, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, white gel pen, caramel colored ink, ribbon, Martha Stewart edge punch, Martha Stewart leaf punch. Oh I also paper pieced her pinafore with DCWV patterned paper.

For this second card, I wanted it to be a bit more shabby, so I distressed a lot and sponged a lot. LOL! What I used on this second one: Autumn stamp kit pumpkins and vine. I stamped the vine then masked it off then stamped one of the pumpkins, masked it and so on and so on until I had four pumpkins all lined up. I also used C.C. Designs Copic Quality White CS, DCWV PP, colored cardstock, Memento ink, Copic markers, stick on embellies from Michael's, perfect layers tool, Heidi Swapp edge distressor, caramel colored ink.

Don't forget to comment! ONE random comment from one of the blog hop posts will be chosen to win the ENTIRE Autumn Sugarplums stamp collection!! So make sure to leave a comment on each post to increase your chances of winning!

Thanks for stopping by! Continue the hop by visiting Kimmie! I'm sure she has a wonderful creation to share with you!

This contest is now closed! A random winner was chosen from one of the posts and is posted at the top of the original ATS blog hop post HERE <-----click!

I know!! Isn't she adorable?! I was soooo pleased to see this little darling in our release this month! She is just a little doll-face, y'all!

Designs Copic Quality White CS, Memento ink, Prisma pencils and OMS, colored cardstock, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Amy R. sentimet from this month's upcoming release, white gel pen, Stickles and Shimmerz Paints. Square card--what I used: Swiss Pixie Pippi, C.C. Designs Copic Quality White CS, Memento ink, Copic markers, colored cardstock, Cuttlebug, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders dies, white gel pen, Martha Stewart bat punch, ribbon.

This first one is from Diane's new set over at All That Scraps. Be sure to stop by the ATS blog to get in on your chance to win all these!

This second one is using one of last year's Halloween sets from Christine along with a sentiment from Amy R's new Halloween sentiment set.
