Now for something different....

florals! I don't typically do a lot of flora-dora cards because they don't really fit what I want to do AND because of that I don't really search out stamps with them.

Well, Julie from ATS has put together a lovely Easter Blessings digital stamp set with this gorgeous floral in it. So simple and elegant!

What I used: SU CS, printer and Copic markers, I dunno where the PP is from because I've had it a billion years at least. I also used my Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, ribbon and some flat back pearls to finish it.

Thanks for stopping in today! Hope you're having a great week!

Oh Anya...you're so cute!

Like OMW, really? These gals are so fun to color!

I just got an order from All That Scraps with her (and maybe a few *cough cough* more) and I couldn't wait to play! But I had to because work and all that stupid crap that goes with it.

ANYway, I knew that she had to be blinged, baby. I mean, I really don't LIKE doing gardening...but I probably would like it a bit more if you gave me shimmery overalls. LOL!

What I used: Anya stamp, Brilliance ink and EP, Copic markers, White Inkssentials gel pen, Flower Soft, Shimmerz Paints in Mello Yello blingz and Blueberry Cobbler Shimmerz, SU CS, SU PP, SU ribbon, EK Success punch, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, Hero Arts flowers, SU brad, MM button brad, Doodlebug brad with a bead spacer, corner rounder punch.

Here are some close-ups of the Shimmerz:

So that is all I have for today! Thanks for stopping in to see me. :)

Did I share this one?

Nay, I do not believe that I have. Wellllll...she is a cutiepie-patootiepie from High Hopes! I looove these angels they have. Perfectly sized for coloring and decorating...just love 'em!

Oh...and I have some news....in my previous post, I posted that I was applying to the DT of a new stamp company called Inky Impressions...and I've been selected to go to Round 2 of the call! You can see all the other talented ladies who have been chosen for Round 2 on their blog. I'm honored to even be considered! Fingers crossed! :D

Anyway, about this card...I think it was for a challenge but I honestly cannot remember if it was or not. So I'm going with not. LOL!

What I used: High Hopes rubber stamp, Memento ink, GP white CS, SU CS, Making Memories PP (I think?!), Cuttlebug, Cuttlebug embossing border, Copic markers, Shimmerz Paints, white gel pen, Spellbinders dies, paper piercer.

I'll have something using the new colors of Shimmerz (new website! Go look at it! I'm a Shimmerz Angelz!) for y'all to look at soon. And have you heard of the new Shimmerz Spritz? Ooh y'all....makes me fan myself in anticipation. haha!

Anyway, that is all I have to share today. STILL trying to get over my plague. Only have itchy eyes, stuffed up face and a cough left to go away. Everything in California is blooming. (Hate.) But in other news, our kitchen range (which was quite expensive to buy in the first place and is not that old) was going to be over $800 to fix soooooo we bought a new one. Happy Anniversary to us! LOL! (Our anniversary was on the 23rd.) What I've always wanted! Nah, honey...skip the $2000 in jewelry...lets buy a new range instead. SOOOO ROMANTIC!! hah!

Thanks for stopping by...I appreciate it!

Inky Impressions 1st Design Team Call

Have y'all seen the cuteness that Nicole is putting out for new stamps (coming soon?!) Welllllllll, if you haven't you have GOT to go look at them on her blog. The first two images she's shared are named after her two daughters. All together now....awwww! And she is using deeply etched fine, fine FINE rubbah, y'all. MY FAVORITE!

Anyway, Nicole asked to share some of our coloring skills...and while I don't think mine are nearly as good as other peoples', I think these two turned out pretty darn cute...don't you?!

This first one is an Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm. I loooooove these little gals! So posh, aren't they? Wellll...so I was sitting and thinking, "Wow! That purse looks a LOT like this Louis Vuitton bag I bought for spring last year. I wonder how I can make it LV?!" Soooo...I googled Louis Vuitton wallpaper and Lo and Behold, someone had created a desktop wallpaper with that pattern. I just saved it, sized it down a bit in Photoshop and used it to paper piece her handbag. This little lovely I colored with my Copic markers and I used a VERY fitting Amy R. sentiment stamp from this month's release at All That Scraps.

And the second card that I'm sharing today is from another of this month's releases at All That Scraps...the Gingersnaps Spring Thing! stamp set. This little beauty was colored with my Prisma pencils and blended with Gamsol. Doesn't she just SCREAM SPRING?! She does for me. :D I had to mask her standing in that ding-dang puddle of rain water...right? And what good is a rain puddle without a cute fuzzy duckling? I colored my fuzzy duckling with Copic markers and then added some Doodlebug Crushed Velvet Flock. I added a little Glossy Accents on her umbrella and to the duckling's beak and feetsies.

OH! And Jan Scholl had asked a while ago how I did the coloring behind my images. Well...no, I don't have the Copic spray gun. I had one at my disposal but I was TOO CHICKEN TO TRY IT. I know...how goofy! Anyway, Jan, if you'd really like to know....I'm gonna share my secret. I use chalk. Just plain ole EK Success chalk in the bit ole patties, smear it on with a cotton puff and then if I don't like it, I erase some off with a white eraser until I get the desired effect. Easy and cheap. I mean, the chalk..not me. *wink*

And Mom? What do you MEAN do I send out my cards? You mean, I'm supposed to GIVE THESE AWAY? Chuh. AS IF. hehehe

That's all for now folks! I hope to be back later with the ATS DT challenge card on Wednesday. I've been feeling poorly with allergies and a horrible, hacking cough. AAAAAAND someone ran into me in a parking lot so I have to go get estimates to have my car repaired. AAAAAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDDDDDD my practically brand new oven is borked. AGAIN. The rapair man should be here between 1 and 5 on Wednesday...which happens to be my ONLY day off this week. Lovely. Just lovely. LOL! Hopefully I'll get to it...if not Wednesday, then ya' know...another day.

Later, lovelies...sorry for talking to much. *mwah*

Card dump....

Okay, so here is the deal...I'm having a hard time keeping up with my blog posts this week...I know I can pre-schedule them but darn if I don't mess it up Each. And. Every. Time. Plus, the thought of sitting and writing up four different posts makes my brain hurt right now. heh.

Soooo....Today's post is a dump of some of the cards I've made that I haven't shared yet. Whee! Four in one.

Also, I'm working on some cute, cute things...I've got them all ready to go with the coloring and all that...just need to get it all cut out and glued down.

So anyway...I won't bore you to death with my Blah Blah. If you have questions on what I used, lemme know. I used paper and a sticky substance and markers and ink and stamps and tools and embellishments. You can click the picture to "bigger 'em up" so you can see it better. (Just don't look too closely in case I messed up on something. hehehe!)

Another sneak peek!

Look how cute that little bunny is peeking out from behind that shroom. Oooh these are some seriously fun stamps. I tell ya'...if I weren't on the DT for ATS, I'd be BROKE, BROKE, BROKE from buying all the stamps and things. (Yanno, like I was before when I wasn't on the DT. LOL!)

Anyway, this set is Diane's new stamp set Mushroom Friends being released tonight (Monday) following a fun chat in the forums. Please join us! We have a lot of fun chatting and cutting up. There is always talk of food (cookies and brownies almost ALWAYS come up for discussion) and just plain ole silliness.

What I used: Mushroom Friends from Cookie Crumbs at All That Scraps, SU CS, Basic Grey PP, Memento ink, Copic markers, white gel pen, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, ribbon.
