This sneak peek...is about to pop!

heeeeeeee! NEW Gingersnaps! Yikes, I know...she is cute as a BUTTON! Wait 'til you see the other little pieces and parts to this set. ADORABLE!

So I have a friend and she is going to have a baby but she hasn't found out the gender yet...I KNOW, WHAT? So I was trying to make a gender neutral card without it being yellow and green because BLEH...so I used a little pink and a little blue and I think it is just what I was hoping it would be!

What I used: Gingersnaps Oh Baby! from the upcoming release from All That Scraps, Neenah white, Memento ink, Copic markers, SU CS, American Crafts PP, Basic Grey half-back pearls, Prima flowers, doodlebug brad, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, and a bit of Shimmerz Spritz for the Primas.

EDIT: Oh...so sorry for not posting this sooner! I had it all written up and everything but think I pushed Save Now instead of Publish Post. Yikes....

Don't forget to check out what the other ladies have done with this and for your chance to win some of this month's releases at the All That Scraps blog!

Day 1 of June sneaks

from ATS. Y'all this is by far my most favorite time of the month is when I get to share new things. And each month, when I open my box of goodies from Christine, it is like Christmas! I love it!

And this set was a late one...just arriving yesterday along with next month's stamps! So I had to quickly get to work on making something. I had mulled around pre-making the card and then stamping, coloring, and slapping her on the card...but I decided against it.

So, here we are introducing...the Fairy Junebugs! There is a second fairy also in this set along with some decorations and a couple of sentiments. Isn't she pretty? I love the serene look on her face.

And who doesn't love that Doodlebug Cherry Amore and Cherry Pie paper and Doodlebug Boutique Brad with the cherries? I mean, seriously?!? Is that not the cutest paper?

So, her little wings were stamped out a second time onto vellum, cut out and then adorned with pearls. She just flies off the page. (haha!) A few little pearls here, a rhinestone or two there and she is perfectly adorned.

What I used: Fairy Junebug stamp set from the upcoming release at All That Scraps, Memento ink, Copic markers, white gel pen, Neenah white, SU CS, Doodlebug PP, pink vellum, ribbon, sticky rhinestones, sticky pearls.

That is all I have for now. Tomorrow's set is just (if not more) as ding-dang cute as this little gal. Run over to the ATS blog to see more from the other ladies. :)

Spritz from Shimmerz sneak peekz!

I think this is probably my favorite Shimmerz product to date. I'm not even saying that because I'm on the DT. I mean, literally...this is the sparkliest stuff I've ever encountered. It is PHENOMENALLY sparkley. I wish y'all could see in person just how sparkley this card is.

Okay, so here is the deal. You know how (if you've used Shimmerz paints) how hard it is to get a nice, even application on a glossy surface, right? Well, I certainly had no problem getting a nice even application on my acetate sheet using the spritz! I just layed it in a cardboard box, stood about 12-14 inches away and misted it until I got the desired effect. And look! No pooling either like you'd think you'd have when using a water based paint on a piece of plastic paper. :D

Go check out the Shimmerz blog to see what the other ladies have done with this (old) new product from Shimmerz paints! I hear there is a little blog candy action going on over there where you could win some for yourself!

Hurry on over and get your name in the hat for your own bottles of Spritz!

Sweet Tooth

This card sorta gives me a bit of a toothache. LOL This is from Two Scoops Rice Designs and I LOVE these cutesy stamps! This card was made with stuff that were sent to me in my DT kit from TSRD so I'm not quite sure who made the PP and whatnot. But it sure is cute!

What I used: TSRD stamp set, PP, GP white, Memento ink, Prima flowers, Shimmerz Paints, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, ribbon, button, stick on rhinestone.

Thanks for stopping in today...hope you come back! :)

I'm ready for sand, sea and surf...

how 'bout you? LOL

Doesn't this paper and that image make you want to run down to the beach and dip your toes into the water. Though it would be a bit too chilly here in Northern California to do that..EVER. Still...makes me yearn for summer. :)

What I used: Hanglar image, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, SU CS, Creative Imaginations PP, Copic markers, white gel pen, Glossy Accents, CM wavy cutter, Amy R. sentiment from this month's release at All That Scraps...which I triple, quadruple love this set.

I sponged a bit of grey around the sea water and took my white gel pen and drew some lines and then quickly smooged it out to make it look like little whitecaps. I love how that turned out!

That's all for today, folks. Thanks for stopping by!

DT Challenge at ATS...

well, so it is late. But better late than never, right? hehe

Our challenge is to make a 3x3 box for the little 3x3 notecards. They're so cute and was fun to make even though I don't follow directions very well....which is why...mine is different than the tutorial. :D

What I used: Beach Scenery set from this month's release at All That Scraps, SU CS, GP white, Memento ink, Copic markers, Amy R. Sentiment set from this month's release at All That Scraps, Creative Imaginations PP (does this go by the parent company or the design...either way, their paper is FABOO.)

I sponged a bit around the kraft CS, the PP and the cut-out surfboard.

Stop over and see what the other girls have done! I'm so priveleged to get to work with such talented ladies! We'd love to see you participate, too...

Thanks for popping by today!
