Anyway, Nicole asked to share some of our coloring skills...and while I don't think mine are nearly as good as other peoples', I think these two turned out pretty darn cute...don't you?!
This first one is an Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm. I loooooove these little gals! So posh, aren't they? Wellll...so I was sitting and thinking, "Wow! That purse looks a LOT like this Louis Vuitton bag I bought for spring last year. I wonder how I can make it LV?!" Soooo...I googled Louis Vuitton wallpaper and Lo and Behold, someone had created a desktop wallpaper with that pattern. I just saved it, sized it down a bit in Photoshop and used it to paper piece her handbag. This little lovely I colored with my Copic markers and I used a VERY fitting Amy R. sentiment stamp from this month's release at All That Scraps.
And the second card that I'm sharing today is from another of this month's releases at All That Scraps...the Gingersnaps Spring Thing! stamp set. This little beauty was colored with my Prisma pencils and blended with Gamsol. Doesn't she just SCREAM SPRING?! She does for me. :D I had to mask her standing in that ding-dang puddle of rain water...right? And what good is a rain puddle without a cute fuzzy duckling? I colored my fuzzy duckling with Copic markers and then added some Doodlebug Crushed Velvet Flock. I added a little Glossy Accents on her umbrella and to the duckling's beak and feetsies.
OH! And Jan Scholl had asked a while ago how I did the coloring behind my images. Well...no, I don't have the Copic spray gun. I had one at my disposal but I was TOO CHICKEN TO TRY IT. I know...how goofy! Anyway, Jan, if you'd really like to know....I'm gonna share my secret. I use chalk. Just plain ole EK Success chalk in the bit ole patties, smear it on with a cotton puff and then if I don't like it, I erase some off with a white eraser until I get the desired effect. Easy and cheap. I mean, the chalk..not me. *wink*
And Mom? What do you MEAN do I send out my cards? You mean, I'm supposed to GIVE THESE AWAY? Chuh. AS IF. hehehe
That's all for now folks! I hope to be back later with the ATS DT challenge card on Wednesday. I've been feeling poorly with allergies and a horrible, hacking cough. AAAAAAND someone ran into me in a parking lot so I have to go get estimates to have my car repaired. AAAAAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDDDDDD my practically brand new oven is borked. AGAIN. The rapair man should be here between 1 and 5 on Wednesday...which happens to be my ONLY day off this week. Lovely. Just lovely. LOL! Hopefully I'll get to it...if not Wednesday, then ya' know...another day.
Later, lovelies...sorry for talking to much. *mwah*

How cute! I adore the second card! It reminds me of my little two year old who LOVES to stand in puddles!! Thanks for sharing your tip with the chalk! I can't wait to try it... (just gotta find my chalk first - I never use it anymore...)
These are fantastic!! I get to go on to round 2 also--woohoo! ☺ I'm hoping, but there were just sooo many really great entries, so I know the choice will be hard. Good luck my friend!!
