Babies...everywhere!

Is it me or have there been a lot of babies lately?

I made this card for a girl at work. I used Lauren's idea with the onesie but I made a girlie dress. I thought it was cute! There isn't a stamp one on it--mainly because I couldn't make a decision on where to put it so I just left it off. :)

I used pink cardstock--I can't remember the manufacturer. For the buttons, I used stick-on pearls. I used my Martha Stewart border punch to make some lace for the bottom & made the collar with my nestabilities and cuttlebug.

This was such a fun (and easy!) card for me to put together. I had to make an envelope because it turned out a little larger than I intended (with the addition of the bottom lace) so I had to alter a larger envelope to fit and make it match. I added one of the shimmery white flowers from Michael's on the cut-out area and then stuck on a sticky pearl.

Hope you have a great day!

Are there any independent book stores in your town? When I worked for the one here, we used to buy cards like this to sell.

Usually the independent places love selling local craft stuff.

I even sold my magnets there. A buck a piece! (and like 10 cents to make)

Hi Danyelle! Yes, those punches from Martha are fabulous! I wish she had more.

Nardi: I hope she likes it!

Mary Dawn: You totally need the Martha punches. Oh yeah and the Martha glitter. LOL!

Adena: Yes, there are lots of little independent places here that I could sell things at. But only after I get better at making them. LOL! I sold some beaded keychains once at one of the stores. :)
