Day Two of ATS Sneaks!

Today we're previewing the new set this month from Diane. Reason for the Season is the name of this set and it is just beautiful! Wait 'til you see the full set!

I made a little scrapling for this card. I love my scraplings! In fact, I just went through all my "scraps" and pulled out all the card-size and scrapling sized scraps and I had 22 scraplings and 37 A2 card bases....from scraps! LOL!

I didn't have any patterned paper that I wanted to use so I took the holly leaves and stamped with versamark ink.

Be sure to stop by the ATS blog and my ATS blog list in my sidebar to view more cards made with this wonderful stamp set.

Stamps: Reason for the Season stamp set from All That Scraps
Ink and Coloring: Memento ink, Copic markers, colored ink, versamark
Paper: C.C. Designs Copic Quality White, colored cardstock
Embellishments and Etc.: brads, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders

Two ATS cards today...

So yeah, these I made last week but am just now getting around to posting them. I have a seriously messed up schedule this week so I'm trying to pre-schedule a couple of posts for y'all.

The first card uses the watercolor spritz technique that I found on Gina K's blog. Our DT challenge from Wednesday was to watercolor an image. And if you've been around my blog for a while, you'll know that I D-E-T-E-S-T watercoloring. Not really, I love it when OTHER people do it, but me, notsomuch. So, when I saw the challenge to watercolor, I was all...NOOOOOO! But then I saw the watercolor spritz and was all...YESSSSSS. LOL!

The second card is showcasing Diane's new set from ATS this month called Ollie and Griselda. I love all the images in this set. The owl on the back of the broom looks SO PUT OUT that he has to go along for the ride. LOL!

So anyway, that's all I have for y'all today. Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you have a fabulous day!

Recipe card 1

ATS previews!

I know I'm late on showing you two of the previews, but between work and being lazy about taking my photos, I just haven't shown them. As it were, I'm only going to show you pictures right now. If you have questions, you can email me or I may go and add the deets later. But we all know, everyone is into the pictures...so here ya' go!

This first one is from Diane's new set over at All That Scraps. Be sure to stop by the ATS blog to get in on your chance to win all these!

This second one is using one of last year's Halloween sets from Christine along with a sentiment from Amy R's new Halloween sentiment set.

The last two feature the set that the blog is previewing today. I love it for making little gifts! I used one of the packaging solutions that Christine has in the ATS shop.

That is all for today, folks! Stop by the ATS blog for your chance to win all these sets!

My favorite, favorite time is when I get to provide sneaks for what Diane, Amy and Christine are coming up with for the month's new rubber stamps!

And, of course, Diane is bringing us another winner this month! This ah-ha-dorable new cow set called Milly from her Cookie Crumbs stamp line over at All That Scraps. I just think this set is the cutest!

I used the milk can from the set to put some background on the blue part behind the image for a little extra fun. And that sentiment? Cracks me up! I swear! My up is ALL cracked! hehe

Another sneak peek!

Look how cute that little bunny is peeking out from behind that shroom. Oooh these are some seriously fun stamps. I tell ya'...if I weren't on the DT for ATS, I'd be BROKE, BROKE, BROKE from buying all the stamps and things. (Yanno, like I was before when I wasn't on the DT. LOL!)

Anyway, this set is Diane's new stamp set Mushroom Friends being released tonight (Monday) following a fun chat in the forums. Please join us! We have a lot of fun chatting and cutting up. There is always talk of food (cookies and brownies almost ALWAYS come up for discussion) and just plain ole silliness.

What I used: Mushroom Friends from Cookie Crumbs at All That Scraps, SU CS, Basic Grey PP, Memento ink, Copic markers, white gel pen, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, ribbon.

ATS DT Wednesday Challenge Time!!

This week, we have a sketch! I mangled it, y'all. BUT, I got most of the elements on it..hehe! I flipped it and switched it around and well, I kinda think it is cute!

I used Diane's new sets called Cookie Jar and Cookie Jargon which was released this month from All That Scraps. And these cookies...y'all....they were begging me to make them into 3-D cookies. They were saying, "JENNIFER! We need to be almost real cookies!" So, me, being weak for talking cookies, bent to their will and made them into almost real cookies. hehehe!

I have "some" Fimo clay. By some I mean more than I will ever use in a million years. And when I got this set, I knew...KNEW...I had to make some of these cookie stamps into Fimo creations. Sooooooo, I rolled out some Caramel Fimo clay and a mixed it with a bit of white Fimo clay until I came to a color that resembled the color of chocolate chip cookies. Then I rolled it out flat and stamped right into the clay. Removed the stamp, peeled up the Fimo clay and baked them for 20 minutes at 265F. (You know, baking Fimo is not nearly as satisfying as baking real cookies...but the result is sure, cute!)

After they were done baking, I colored in the chocolate parts with a Copic marker and then with the peanut butter cookie, I globbed some Mono-Multi on it and sprinkled on some Martha Stewart glitter to make it look like I had rolled it in sugar before baking...like you would a real peanut butter cookie!

They're just attached to the card with some glue dots. I squealed when it all came together because of the cookies. LOL!

What I used: Cookie Jar and Cookie Jar-gon sets from All That Scraps, Memento ink, Copic markers, DCWV PP, Bazzill CS, SU CS, ribbon, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, SU punch.

That's it folks! See ya' on the flip side! :) Don't forget to run over to the ATS blog to see what fabulous creations the ladies have made!

Hope you have a great day and hope you can join all the ladies for the release chattin'!

(And the Cookie Crumb sample I made? Is supposed to house a beautifully decorated heart shaped cookie on a stick that I went to the bakery specially to buy but then left at work! Argh! So pretend like there is a fabulously decorated heart cookie inside the cookie holder....k?)

Aaaaaanndddd....I'm off! *POOF* :D

I had to use my little Snow Friends set from Cookie Crumbs one more time before I put away my wintery stamps...coz it is turning beautiful weather here lately! Sunny and warm-ish...makes me kinda glad I don't live where the snow is. :D I'm ready for spring already!! Hurry and get here, spring! heee!
