Sneak Peek of new Gingersnaps set!

Y'all...these Gingersnaps are probably my new favorite at All That Scraps. It used to be the Glam Girls and well, I love the Glam Girls so much but these Gingersnaps...they are ADORABLE!

The set is called Spring Thing and there are lots of other cute little stamps in the set besides the ones that I've used. You can see more on the ATS blog where, incidentally, you can also be entered to win this set for your own!

What I used: Spring Thing set from the upcoming release at All That Scraps, SU CS, Bazzill CS, Making Memories pattern paper (I think!), Memento ink, Copic markers, Martha Stewart edge punch, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, word window punch, and some Doodlebug crushed velvet flock (which, coincidentally is on sale as of right this second for 15% off at All That Scraps.)

So anyway, that is all I have for today! Thanks for stopping by....

Sneak peeks of new releases!

From none other than Amy R. at All That Scraps. Today I'm showing you a wonderful sentiment set that Amy has done for us. Friends sentiments...perfect!

I don't have a spare second here as I'm due back at work (home for lunch) but I wanted to get my card photographed (sorry for the yuckiness of the photo) and up on my blog so that you can run over to the blog and see the beautiful things the other ladies have done. I understand there is some blog candy there to be had as well. :)

I'll add the particulars later....thanks for stopping by today!

ATS DT Wednesday Challenge Time!!

This week, we have a sketch! I mangled it, y'all. BUT, I got most of the elements on it..hehe! I flipped it and switched it around and well, I kinda think it is cute!

I used Diane's new sets called Cookie Jar and Cookie Jargon which was released this month from All That Scraps. And these cookies...y'all....they were begging me to make them into 3-D cookies. They were saying, "JENNIFER! We need to be almost real cookies!" So, me, being weak for talking cookies, bent to their will and made them into almost real cookies. hehehe!

I have "some" Fimo clay. By some I mean more than I will ever use in a million years. And when I got this set, I knew...KNEW...I had to make some of these cookie stamps into Fimo creations. Sooooooo, I rolled out some Caramel Fimo clay and a mixed it with a bit of white Fimo clay until I came to a color that resembled the color of chocolate chip cookies. Then I rolled it out flat and stamped right into the clay. Removed the stamp, peeled up the Fimo clay and baked them for 20 minutes at 265F. (You know, baking Fimo is not nearly as satisfying as baking real cookies...but the result is sure, cute!)

After they were done baking, I colored in the chocolate parts with a Copic marker and then with the peanut butter cookie, I globbed some Mono-Multi on it and sprinkled on some Martha Stewart glitter to make it look like I had rolled it in sugar before baking...like you would a real peanut butter cookie!

They're just attached to the card with some glue dots. I squealed when it all came together because of the cookies. LOL!

What I used: Cookie Jar and Cookie Jar-gon sets from All That Scraps, Memento ink, Copic markers, DCWV PP, Bazzill CS, SU CS, ribbon, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, SU punch.

That's it folks! See ya' on the flip side! :) Don't forget to run over to the ATS blog to see what fabulous creations the ladies have made!

Can it be SPRING ALREADY???

I'm tired to DEATH of this rain! I know, I know...California NEEDS rain...but ugh. Dirt city. The dogs are dirty..the floor is dirty from the dirty dogs...my car is dirty....my shoes are dirty. Blech!

So, to inject a little un-dirtiness into my life, I've been making some spring-gy cards and creations lately. I'm ready for bright and sunny mornings! Soon enough though...I suppose. Still, the rain makes me all pouty. hehe

OH! Before I forget, my mom has just started her foray into making cards and whatnot. You see, my mother is one crafty gal. She can sew like no tomorrow and she crochets...with the little thread stuff. I can't even lace up shoes, so I'm sure I'd be way confused over crocheting! Anyway, she's been looking at my card blog and my freinds' card blogs and she decided she wanted to play with paper, too!

Well, back in the fall, I sent her two GINORMOUSLY stuffed boxes full of paper & stamps & just all sorts of stuff. And she's been making a few things here and there. But, she's starting a blog to show off her cards and sewing and crocheting projects. Here is her blog: Granny's Apron Strings. She just has one thing she made on there now (maybe because I have failed in my promise to send her some cardstock...must order that this week!) Anyway, go say hi and encourage her. I've got a bunch more "stuff" to send, too. LOL I may have a bit of a paper and stamp buying addiction. lalala

Anyway, back to the card. What I used is a stamp from Great Impressions. Y'all. I love their stamps. They're just so pretty! I used some SU CS, SU PP, Copic markers, Shimmerz Paints, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, Prima flowers, and a brad. The sentiment is from Amy R. Stamps Warm and Cozy set from All That Scraps. (Also, let us pretend that the sentiment is stamped straight and not stamped at a slight angle...kthx. LOL!)

That is all I have for today. Thanks for stopping by! Can't wait to show you my card for tomorrow...hehe!

Can you stand one more valentine card?

Because I made this one a few days ago and I wanted to share it anyway. :D Christine got in a bunch of Magnolia stamps recently at All That Scraps, so I *had* to order some. hehe!

I found this 12x12 Daisy Bucket paper with a bazillion patterns on it and I thought all the patterns were so cute! So I cut all the pieces of the pattern out to form a bazillion "intentional scraps." This card went together so easily because of it! I just picked out a few (5 to be exact) of the bazillion patterns, glued 'em down and stuck on my colored and cut-out Tilda. I love, love how this turned out!

What I used: Tilda with hearts from Magnolia stamps, Memento ink, Copic markers, Daisy bucket pattern paper, Bazill CS (see how mine breaks at the top even when using a Scor-Pal? Annoying!), SU CS, glitter paper from Target (holy moly is this paper the glitteriest EVER!), and some Glossy Accents on the hearts...just coz I wanted the hearts to have some texture.

So that is all I have to share for right now. Thanks for stopping in today!

Okay, okay! I'm posting!

No excuses. I've just been lazy and have been playing games on my Wii. LOL Anyway, I've been working in my crafty-sty, but haven't photographed much yet because hubby has the good camera with him & he is on the boat this weekend! I do have this card which I made for ATS Wednesday challenge (and it was ON TIME) but I am just now getting around to posting it. I should have the camera back this evening so I can share some more stuff I've been doing!

So, on the ATS blog, the DT Challenge this week was to paper piece which I love, love, love doing! I even wrote a tutorial on how to paper piece with the digital images. You can find the link to the download in ~~>this post<~~ at the ATS blog.

What I used: Angels Everywhere from C.C. Designs at All That Scraps, Copic markers, Sweet Stack from DCWV, SU CS, white gel pen, Shimmerz paints.

That's all folks! Thanks for stopping in today. I'm off to clean house and MAYBE start tackling the mess in the scrapy-sty. Either way, I'm going in there anyway and just knocking everything off into the floor and starting over. LOL

Garden fairies anyone?

Hehehe...so, Two Scoops Rice Design is getting ready to be ready to release some stuff! How exciting, I know! Renae sent the DT the Garden Fairies digital images to have some fun and I decided on using this little gal on this card. Aren't those fairies cute?

What I used: digi Garden Fairy from Two Scoops Rice Design, Imaginesce paper, SU CS, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, Copic markers, Shimmerz Paints and some blingy little flowers.

I can't wait to show you more! Soon!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your day is fabulous!

ATS DT challenge 35

Recently, I've been "branching out" into the world of making little gifts and boxes and whatnot. It is so much fun to finish something and have a gift and not just a card to put on a gift!

So that is this week's ATS DT Challenge...to make some Valentine Goodies. I decided to make this little bag (Tutorial found ~~>HERE<~~) and I just love how easy it was! My requirements for making boxes and 3D things? Has to be easy and has to use things that I have already...and this little box-in-a-bag fit those requirements perfectly! :)

What I used: Hey Cupid! set from C.C. Designs at All That Scraps, Memento ink, Copic markers, Cuttlebug, Spellbinders dies, white gel pen, Shimmerz paints in Angel Wings, Target PP, SU CS, Tab punch, Crop-a-dile, Martha Stewart border punch, and some ribbon.

Check out the forum and blog to see what the other gals are doing with their Valentine treats and get in on making your own goodies!

Thanks for stopping in today!

New Releases tonight at All That Scraps!

Woohoo! Finally these cute stamps can be yours! Tonight, join the gals in the ATS forum for some fun chatting and to see other inspirational samples tonight at 8PM EST!

Here are two more things that I made for the preview but didn't get to blog about them yet. I'm off to work...but if you have questions on what I used or what I did on the card, leave me a comment or email me (link to email is in sidebar.)

Hope you have a great day and hope you can join all the ladies for the release chattin'!

(And the Cookie Crumb sample I made? Is supposed to house a beautifully decorated heart shaped cookie on a stick that I went to the bakery specially to buy but then left at work! Argh! So pretend like there is a fabulously decorated heart cookie inside the cookie holder....k?)

Aaaaaanndddd....I'm off! *POOF* :D
