More playing around!

So, I'm still playing around with paper and ink and stamps and pretties!  Enjoying the mess out of it.  Speaking of mess, WHEW my craft stuff is sorely out of sorts.  Hopefully I'll find some time to sort more of it out...mainly so I can find stuff.  LOL!

So here's another I made

 This stamp is a Sweet November stamp that was done from All That Scraps/C.C. Designs Stamps.  I love her red hair!  I had different ideas on the design...but...it didn't work out.  So I'm guessing I'll live.  :)

Playing in paper and couldn't be happier!

So, I've found a little time this week to make a few things.  Just getting my feet wet.  Nothing fancy or involved.  Just practicing, getting back into the groove.  ;)

 

All the stamps used were from CC Designs.  Designer papers were from my stash.  Who knows where they're from anymore...LOL!  And I used Memento Ink and colored with Copic markers.  Embellishments and other things are from my stash.

Is this thing on?

Seems I've got some housecleaning to do!  Goodness it does get dusty and dirty.  Who's got a broom and feather duster I can use?  

Anywhoozits.  So...I've almost got my craft room set up the way I want.  It's only been...what...30-40 years since I made anything?  LOL!

I've got a truckton of stuff I just plain don't want anymore...and some stuff that I totally want...and some stuff that I'm not quite sure what to do with.  It is all very overwhelming!

Here's hoping I'll be hopping in another...few days?  Week?  IDK.  Summer is here and we've got Six Flags season passes...so we're really enjoying our afternoons or mornings at the park.  :)

So...MWAH!  I miss you guys!  See you soon! ;)

Has it really been a year since I posted on here?

Well...it looks like it ALMOST HAS!  I've been...uhm...kind of occupied!  I have a new lil addition to our family!  Abigail Rose was born in November!  She's doing GREAT!  4 months old now and just growin' like a little weed!

Anyway, I've about got it worked out on how I can make a few things here and there so HOPEFULLY soon I'll be posting semi-regularly here.  :)

hehehehe!  I have been into using some bright colors lately.  I dunno why...maybe the blah weather we were having in the Bay Area...anyway, isn't she cute?  I was la la la loving her as soon as I saw her in my package of February stamps from All That Scraps.  She's a Sweet November Sprite named Darby.  ACK!  Love that!

I loved COLORING HER!!  OMG!  I love me some of these Sweet November stamps!  This one is Chanter Heartsong.  Isn't she so pretty?  *sigh*  hehe!

EEEeek...I know...so sweet aren't they?

Look at this sweet shy pair of bunnies!  I wanted to use some soft colors and to use some of my other ATS stamps to make a little scene.  These Making Memories papers from last year were the perfect colors for what I wanted to do with this card.

Surprise!

From All That Scraps!  A super-surprise mid-month release!  ACK!  I know, right?!  Cooooool!!!  These are Easter/Spring images.  I however, always have to change things around to fit something it isn't...so mine is sort of springy...I mean, there are flowers...right?  LOL 

What I used:  New stamps available on the 15th at All That Scraps, Memento ink, Copic markers, Colored cardstock, Nestabilities, Patterned paper, Prima flowers, stickles.

Valentine-a-palooza..

or something.  Yeah...something.  haha!  Anyway, I couldn't let the weekend get here and not post some of the valentine cards I made!  All these are from stamps that you can find at All That Scraps.  (I kinda love them a little...haha!)

The top two are using that cheapy Valentine paper from the Target $$ spot.  I don't care how cheap it is in quality, the prints are just what I love...LOL!  The last one uses Basic Grey PP.

Anyway, I'm off to watch hockey and get some dinner started and then clean up the kitchen afterward and then scrub the bathtub and maybe take a long, long, long bubble bath and then go to bed and be at work at 4 am!  :-O  I know...way early but whatever...I can handle it!  :D

Angels Landing DT Challenge!

This week, we were asked by Judi to make a 3x3 or smaller card.  And y'all know I love making scraplings so when this little hot challenge came along, I was all..."HECK YEAH!!!" 

Isn't he cute in his little hat??  I used the Penguin Chick digital stamp set to print out this little guy on my CCD Copic Quality White Cardstock and then colored him in with Copic markers to match my patterned paper.  I just love his goofy little grin!

Sorry I've been gone for so long...work and home life is busy, busy!  I've got a LOT of things made to show though!

Wild Card Wednesday at Angels Landing!

These cute little penguins are part of the latest release from Angels Landing digital stamps called Penguin Chicks. I love their funky little hats!  I used some Christmas colors on this card as I'm trying to determine what sorts of cards I want to make for the (very few) Christmas cards I'll send out this year.  I'm loving the red and green though I don't usually use a lot of these greens.

I know I'm late in posting mine...had quite a time this week as I've been working a whacked out schedule. And in my spare time, I've been sewing a Strawberry Shortcake costume for myself. hehe!

I went a little glitter-iffic on this one!  I just love these little fairies!  So whimsical, aren't they?!  These are from our new illustrator at ATS.  This line is Sweet November-Fairy Sweet and then each little fairy has a different name but that is in the craft room and sooo far away and I'm lazy.  But you'll be able to see them all on release day.  :D  Check out the ATS blog to win your very own set of all four!

LOOK AT THESE NEW SWISS PIXIES!  Woulja just look at that image?!  Eee!  I love my Swiss Pixies, y'all know that.  Anyway, this one reminded me of Cindy Lou Who and the patterned paper reminded me of Who-ville....so put the two together, right?  Love!

•   You likey my new blog template?  I got it from Template Mama.  You'd think that a gal who won an international award for having the best blog design a few years ago for her personal blog would be able to make her own.  Well, I can...but dang if I can find the time so I'm using a *gasp* pre-made one.
  

•  I made some blinkies for All That Scraps.  You can feel free to use them on your own blog (just right click, save, then upload to where you store your pics and put 'em on your blog.)

Anyway...I think that is about it....

OH! Over at Holly's blog I was "tagged" and I'm supposed to tell you 10 random things about me...Well, I dunno if I have 10...so I'll take a stab at it!

1. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, they are my fur-babies.
2. I live in California but I'm from Kentucky even though I was born in California.  heh
3. I really feel goofy thinking up 10 things...so let's see....
4. I won an award (mentioned above) for best blog design for my personal blog.  I hardly even pick up my digital pen anymore.
5. I drive 25 miles each way to buy my favorite iced tea.  I buy 3 gallons at a time and it lasts for a week.
6. In addition to a paper addiction, I'm also addicted to nail polish.
7. Oh and I have an apron buying problem.  I have well over 100 of them.  My mom makes the most FABULOUS aprons, y'all.  I need to get her set up to sell her things on Etsy.
8. I still have Christmas garland hanging on my kitchen windows from last  Christmas.  I think it looks pretty up there so I just left it.  I don't think it looks THAT Christmassy.  I mean, it doesn't have lights on it or anything...just greenery garlands.
9. I love having plants in my house but I can't because my cat, Teddy, eats everything that comes in the house.  He's chewed on at least 5 pairs of my shoes.  MY CAT.
10. So here we are at 10...la la la...I made it!  (almost.  LOL)
