Card dump....

Okay, so here is the deal...I'm having a hard time keeping up with my blog posts this week...I know I can pre-schedule them but darn if I don't mess it up Each. And. Every. Time. Plus, the thought of sitting and writing up four different posts makes my brain hurt right now. heh.

Soooo....Today's post is a dump of some of the cards I've made that I haven't shared yet. Whee! Four in one.

Also, I'm working on some cute, cute things...I've got them all ready to go with the coloring and all that...just need to get it all cut out and glued down.

So anyway...I won't bore you to death with my . If you have questions on what I used, lemme know. I used paper and a sticky substance and markers and ink and stamps and tools and embellishments. You can click the picture to "bigger 'em up" so you can see it better. (Just don't look too closely in case I messed up on something. hehehe!)

Another non-Christmas card!

This is well...spring-ey again. hehe! I just got this stamp set...isn't it adorable?! It is a Level 2 Hostess set from Stampin' Up and I knew I had to have it!

This didn't turn out how I envisioned it. I had it in my mind with some light pinks and maybe some blues. (which is why it is colored that way..LOL!) but I ended up loving the coral in one of my patterned papers so I went ahead with that. I guess I could have colored over the flower in the image...maybe I'll do that later.

I used a sketch from I {heart} to stamp.

What I used: SU stamp and sentiment, SU CS, K&Co. PP, Memento ink, Copic markers, Versamark and clear EP, cameo coral ink for sponging on the sentiment, ribbon, perfect layers tool (for all those many layers on this card!) and my ticket corner punch.

I didn't realize until I put the picture on my computer that it has a big, giant white dog hair attached to it at the top (gift with purchase!) and a glue boogar on the sentiment. I have since removed those, but I couldn't retake the photo as we lost the light again.

Anyway, that is it from me today! I'm off to work. I'll be SO GLAD when I can take a vacation! Ugh!

Oh no! Again with the snowmen!

Actually, Allison at Stampin' When I Can issued a challenge for snowmen cards. This is my second one for the challenge. Yeah. I love muh snowmens!

I loved this stamp set as soon as I saw it and even though it was retired, I was determined for it to be mine. Found it on ebay for a steal back in July. YAY!

What I used: Flaky Friends from SU!, SU CS, DCWV mat stack, Memento Ink, Copic markers, Stickles, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Martha Stewart snowflake punch (I am in LOOOOVE!), Martha Stewart border punch, silver ribbon (again in LOOOOOVE!), and a charm that WAS a wine glass charm...but I got a set of 8 for a quarter on clearance.

Actually, I got a bunch of the charms on clearance for a quarter each. YAY! What a deal. I thought the charm fit perfectly because it looked like these little snowmens were caroling. Fa la la la la laaaaa...la la la laaaaa.

Dutch Dare Card Challenge time...

I had to skip it last week as I was involved in that very good thing I mentioned the other day. Anyway, this week I'm getting back on track with things.

Some things to share!

First, this card was made for the Dutch Dare Challenge Blog. We're on challenge #4! This week it is a sketch challenge and there is a really nice prize! You can click the images to get a larger view.

What I used: CS by Stampin' Up, Prima Flowers, Stickles, May arts ribbon, Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Copic markers, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, Ticket corner punch, black gel pen, Basic Grey button.

These two cards I was just futzing around and wanted to play with some stuff so off these came! :D On this first one...do you see that little white scalloped thing? Mary Dawn over at My Pink Mexico made those for me with her Silhouette. Ooh...neato!

Friend card...what I used: CS by Stampin Up, K&Co patterned paper, felt flowers from Stampin' Up, For a Friend hostess set from Stampin' Up, Memento Tuxedo black ink, Old Olive ink, Copic markers, Cuttlebug, Nestabilities, cuttlebug embossing folder, silver brad, and that silhouette cut scallop-ey thing.

I wasn't going to post this blue and tan one. I don't really care for it that much. LOL I LOVE that stamp though...it is from Inkadinkado (probably a while ago) and Mary Dawn sent it to me. I LOVE it! Anyway, I was trying to convey a sense of beach with the colors of the card but I think I failed. Anyway...hehe

Blue and tan card...what I used: Inkadinkado stamp, Adirondack Pitch Black ink, Copic markers, stick on pearls, K&Co paper, Stampin' Up CS, Prima flowers, Making Memories hardware. The sentiment is from the Hey Cupcake stamp I bought from Eclectic Paperie.

What a fun stamp night!

So tonight was Stamp Night with Gina Taylor, my Stampin' Up! demo. What a great time! It was nice to see the ladies again and I can't wait to get to go again. I love playing with paper! :D

Here is a quick peek at what we made tonight!

The first is the card that we made using the Fresh Cuts stamp set and the Fresh Cut notes. I love the card! Not sure I love what *I* did with it but the coolness of the cutout is wicked awesome.


The second thing we made was a strawberry party favor. Ooh, how cute is this? I could die with the cuteness of it. And the strawberry stamp that we used pushed me over the edge of buying the Tart and Tangy stamp set. LOL I love strawberries! :D And she gave us her template for it. I am soo making one of these using my Cuttlebug Swiss dots embossing folder. hee!

The last thing that we made is this SUPER CUTE AND FABULOUS All About Me journal/album. She showed us the Bind It All and OH MAN, I am sooooo getting this. I absolutely love notebooks and journals and albums. This is one awesome tool! Even my husband thought this project was cool! He usually just rolls his eyes and tries to tot up how much money I've spent on something. LOL!

Then we munched on some fabulous chocolate fondue with marshmallows and strawberries. YUM. And the most yummiest ever cheese fondue with french bread and crackers. I could have eaten that with a spoon! LOL! She served up some delicious Cosmos, too. hee! I may have placed a larger than intended order but I got pretty much all the things that I have on my wish list (well except for a few stamp sets but I'm not dying for those....YET.)

And finally, I have a card that I made here at home. Sure, it pales in comparison to all the other fun projects that I got to make today, but I had fun! I bought this stamp today at Big Lots...LOL I loved the little stick figures and it reminded me of my friend and me...so I had to have it. :D I used SU! cardstock, DCWV paper, a flower punch that I doodled on and stuck a rhinestone in the middle. And I cut out my girlies with my Cuttlebug and Nestabilities and matted it on a scalloped Nesties circle and doodled around both of those. What can I say? I was in a doodling mood. Heh! The leaves for the flower are one of those Michael's Brides flowers that I colored with a copic marker and cut apart and stuck on the back of the punched flower. :) It was colored with my Copic markers. I wrote on the Friends 4-ever part because I didn't have an appropriate stamp and I was feeling lazy and didn't want to search and search for one that would fit right on it.

Well, I don't hate it....

but I'm not in love with how this turned out. It is all part of learning, right? What goes with what and what doesn't. hee!

So this is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge. And truthfully, I love the sketch, but I was trying to use a paper with which I have nothing at all that I could find to match it. So frustrating. Anyway, it is a beautiful sketch and I have been seeing lots of pretty cards made with it. Mine, notsomuch. :)

Another CASEd card...

I know, another one?! You're screaming at me. I can hear you. I saw this one on i {heart}2stamp's blog. I have one more, too. Anyway, this is the one that I was trying to photograph last night when my camera died.

For some reason, the colors didn't stay "true" on my photos. Namely the coloring. I can assure you that the stamped image is colored a rusty color and NOT fuschia. The card translates to digital sort of meh, but looks wonderful in person...I promise! LOL!!!

Supplies:

Stamps: I received this stamp in a swap on SwapBot so I'm not sure who makes it. It is pretty though isn't it? (Well, if it didn't look fuschia on the computer screen.)

CS and papers: All papers and CS are SU! with the exception of the stamped white which is unknown but nice quality white. The patterned piece was a scrap leftover from my stamp class the other night. I'm not gonna let a pretty piece of DP going into the recycle bin!

Ink: I don't know what ink she used on this image but it did sort of smear when I used Gamsol.

Accessories: Prisma and OMS, perfect layers (I could not live without my perfect layers tools), Heidi Swapp edge distresser, Making Memories hardware (What a pain in the fanny it was to get that thing all lined up. Am I just remedial in that I suck at getting it straight on the sentiment? Ugh.), and a SU SAB rub-on that my demo sent to me because she rocks!
